Sweet's Elderberry Syrup is beneficial by the daily dose but is also a fantastic ingredient in the kitchen!
To top her "comfort salad" of spinach and arugula, leftover fried chicken breast, Black Forest bacon, green grapes, and fried potato discs (seasoned the night before with Chef Monica Blends), Chef Monica of Charlotte NC created a delicious dressing using Sweet's Syrup.
Chef Monica ® Herbed Citrus & Elderberry Vinaigrette
Ingredients
¼ Cup canola or olive oil
1 Tbsp. Chef Monica ® Herbed Citrus Blend
2 ½ Tbsp. Sweet’s Elderberry Syrup
1 tsp. Honey Dijon Mustard
Preparation
1. Mix oil and Citrus Blend together in a bowl.
2. Then add in Dijon mustard and stir until well combined.
3. Next, whisk in oil until ingredients have emulsified together.
4. Taste and adjust seasoning using kosher salt and pepper as needed.
